Squamish Christmas
Squamish Christmas has been organized for 17 years by a few friends who believe in the magic of Christmas. We've been doing this since 2005 and although different friends were part of it each year, the main group remained constant. It is now time for us to step back and put our time and effort into other adventures.
It's with a little tear that we close this chapter but it's easier as we look back over the years. Each year we did something a little bit different as our way to spice up the holidays and to give back to our community. We organized Photos with Santa, Santa Fly ins, Literary/Art Contests, Spirit of Giving Contests, Window Decorating Contests, Santa Parades, and Outdoor Christmas Markets. It generally took us 6 months to put everything into place but it was a project that we were passionate about. Through the years, we formed strong friendships, our businesses evolved, our children became adults, and some of us have relocated. This is something we will always look back on with pride and fond memories. Check out the next page with a few photos over the years.
